Financial Literacy: 

 Welcome to Economics - Financial Literacy In The 21st Century! Students will learn a basic  understanding of personal finance along with the principles of credit, interest, debt, checking & savings  accounts and taxes. Areas to be highlighted include the role of the government, money and banking and  comparative economic systems. 

Students will learn about career choice and what those careers pay and how to research paying  for college. The goal of the course is to prepare students to become responsible adults who stay within  the limits of their financial situation to avoid falling into debt. By staying financially stable you can live a  productive and enjoyable life where you are able to financially balance your “wants” and your “needs”. `I’m going to teach you about adulting! This course will walk you through all of the things money related and adulting. We will move through resumes, budgeting, how to utilize credit cards and loans, and how to be a financially wise and responsible adult.
US 2 History:
Welcome to US 2 History.  The goal of this class is for all students to have an open knowledge of significant global events that, in some way, had an impact on our present world.  The US 2 History class is a broad survey of events, people, and places that have significantly influenced human development in the United States for approx. the past 150 years.  Students can be expected to explore various cultures and ethnic groups, analyze political and economic philosophies, examine primary and secondary sources concerning various time periods, and view many places in the United States that hosted many historical moments.
