About The Teacher
Mrs. Rice graduated from Georgian Court University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education with an endorsement in students with disabilities. She began her musical education at the age of five with piano lessons. In addition to piano, she has received private instruction throughout her youth and college experience in violin, cello, mallets, bells, vibraphone, and voice along with performing in multiple instrumental and vocal ensembles. She regularly performs in faculty recitals held by her former piano teacher and continues to play for various scholarship award dinners, weddings, banquets and honor induction ceremonies.
She has a four year old daughter named Evelyn who loves to dance and sing next to play many different instruments. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, tennis, soccer, and basketball. Mrs. Rice loves to spend time with her husband, daughter, and her kittens Chase and Skye!
Mrs. Rice is fully committed to providing a solid education and instilling music appreciation in all of her students at Wilson Elementary School. She looks forward to building strong relationships with all students, parents, and all members of the school faculty to promote a positive successful learning environment!
