Journalism

 

In this course students will explore the production and impact of journalists on our society by reading and making observations on newspapers, magazines, news sites, and televised broadcasts.  They will develop their writing skills by learning to write different types of news articles, and they will hone their speaking and listening skills by conducting surveys and interviews.  As part of this class, students will also contribute to our school newspaper, Echo Lites.
