What I Expect from You
Come to class prepared every single day.
This means bringing your notebook, required texts and writing utensils!
It also means that you will be ready and willing to learn, to participate and to interact respectfully with your classmates.
The school rules are my rules.
Please refer to the student handbook for specific school rules.
I expect for you to RESPECT your peers, their opinions; me and my classroom; and last but not least, yourself and your right to a quality education.
1. Show respect to everyone in the building.
2. Follow Directions.
3. NO ELECTRONICS! This includes cell phones, mp3 players/iPods, PSPs, etc. If any device is being used during class without teacher permission, it will be confiscated. School policy states that any electronic confiscated must be retrieved in the main office by a parent/guardian. A Saturday Detention will be given to any student who uses an electronic device during class.
4. Remain seated until the teacher (not the bell) dismisses the class. Do not pack up OR get up early to put away supplies, etc. unless specifically directed to do so.
5. Inappropriate language will not be tolerated. All school rules must be adhered to at all times.
6. Follow all building procedures for fire drills, evacuation drills and lockdowns.
What to Expect From Me
First and foremost, you have my support. I am always on your side. I am here to make sure you succeed in this course!
You will receive rubrics and clearly detailed explanations of all assignments before they are assigned. My expectations will always be clear. You will have the time you need to ask any questions you may have.
If you have any question about our class, don’t be afraid to ASK! I am here to answer them for you and there are no ‘stupid’ questions.
